UK Sonar National Championships 2022
Venue – Sussex Yacht Club, UK (www.sussexyachtclub.org.uk)
Host and organizer – Sussex Yacht Club (SYC) in conjunction with the UK Sonar Class Association
Dates – 24th – 29th August 2022

Entry Fee includes All racing, moorings, launch and recovery, gala event dinner for four crew, trailer storage, transport between moorings and venue, prizes and membership of Class Association for owner/skipper for one year. (Please do not purchase a full Membership if entering into the 2022 Class Nationals).

Outline of SCHEDULE (6.1 in the NOR);
- Wednesday, 24 August – Early arrivals Measurement/Inspection and Launch.
- Thursday, 25 August – Check-In, Measurement & Inspection, Launch, Practice Race Warning Signal, All boats competing, must be afloat by 1800. Evening Welcome Reception and Competitors Meeting.
- Friday, 26 August – up to 4 races Scheduled, Class Association AGM and Daily Awards (Shoreham – Food available).
- Saturday, 27 August – up to 4 races Scheduled, Daily Awards, Refreshments and Event Dinner at Shoreham Club House.
- Sunday, 28 August – up to 3 races, No warning signals after 1200 Midday. Limited Haul Out for boats requiring to travel by road. After Racing – National Championship Awards, Refreshments (Shoreham Club House) and close of Championship.
- Monday, 29 August – Haul Out for remaining boats as required
